DOLPHINS

Dolphins are very special mammals and belong to the whale family. Like any other mammal. Dolphins nurse their babies with their mammary glands as soon as they are born. Dolphins are good swimmers; they can reach a depth of over 260 meters under water for as long as 15 minutes.  Dolphins use echolocation to act as radar to find their way and to detect food and find out where others are. Despite being mainly seas water, few dolphins are located in rivers. Many sharks tend to eat dolphins and there are many instances whereby dolphins have been known to save, rescue and even been able to be tamed and put in zoos. There is a lot of dolphin research going on and many dolphin fasts, videos and pictures are always breathtaking.
